Back to contentsTerms and conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Koolura, acting as the seller, and any person wishing to make a purchase on the Koolura.co.uk website (the “Customer”). Any order placed on the website implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions under which Koolura sells its products to its customers. They apply to all orders placed on the Koolura.co.uk website.
2. Products
The essential characteristics of the products are presented on the product page of the website. The photographs and descriptions illustrating the products are as accurate as possible but cannot engage the liability of Koolura in the event of errors or omissions.
3. Prices and payment terms
The prices shown on the website are expressed in pounds sterling, inclusive of all taxes (VAT included), excluding any delivery charges. Koolura reserves the right to change its prices at any time, on the understanding that the price displayed on the website at the time of ordering will be the only one applicable. Payment is made online by credit or debit card via a secure payment provider. Bank card details are never stored on Koolura’s servers.
4. Delivery
Products are delivered to the delivery address provided by the Customer at the time of ordering. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 working days from payment confirmation. Delivery then typically takes between 5 and 20 calendar days, subject to exceptional circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, customs delays, strikes, carrier handovers).
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, if the order has not been received within 30 calendar days, please contact [email protected] so that we can take appropriate action.
5. Right to cancel and money-back guarantee
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days to exercise their right to cancel, without having to give reasons or pay penalties.
In addition, Koolura offers its customers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. To exercise this right, the Customer must contact [email protected] before the end of this period to obtain a return code and return address. Products must be returned in their original packaging, unused and undamaged. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer, except in the case of a defective product. The refund is issued within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the returned products, using the same payment method as the original order.
6. Manufacturer warranty
All products sold benefit from the legal warranty of conformity as well as the warranty against hidden defects, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable EU consumer protection law. In addition, every Koolura device is covered by a two (2) year commercial manufacturer warranty against any production defect.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been used contrary to its intended purpose or has suffered mechanical damage. To make a warranty claim, the Customer sends to [email protected] their order number, a description of the defect observed and, where applicable, photographs of the product.
7. Customer service
For any question or complaint regarding an order, the Customer can contact customer service:
- By email: [email protected]
- By phone: +1 (515) 395-4495
In accordance with our terms, the Customer undertakes to contact our support team before taking any action through third parties (bank, payment institution), in particular for refund requests or payment chargebacks.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to the law applicable to the Customer’s place of residence. The rights of consumers residing in the United Kingdom or the European Union, as provided for by national consumer protection law, remain fully preserved. In the event of a dispute, and after a mandatory attempt at amicable resolution with customer service, the competent courts will be determined according to the rules applicable to the consumer.
